A trip to Uttarakhand

 Oct'22,2023: The journey began on the auspicious day of Maha ashtami by taking the blessings of Maa Durga, we reached Howrah Station and came to know that the train was already late by 1h 25 mins from its usual time. The day after we reached Haridwar station.

Oct'23,2023: We reached Haridwar in the evening and boarded the bus which we booked to reach Hotel Anandam in Rishikesh, the worst in Rishikesh. We left for Sitapur early morning the very next day.Oct'24,2023: We started our journey enroute Sitapur which was a 6 hrs to 7hrs journey which we were able to complete on time so that it becomes easy for us to get acquainted with the weather and the wind and doesn't cause any sort of health problem before the Kedarnath Trek starts on the next day.Oct'25,2023: We started the trek early in the morning and as soon as we reached Jungle Chotti heavy downpour started which slowed our entire pace still we managed to reach Badi Lincholi within 4 PM.Oct'26,2023: The final 5kms was started early at around 5: 30 am in the morning. The final length was not that steep than it was in the beginning. We reached Kedarnath in groups of 2 at different times. We went inside the rooms kept our bags and started to take a walk surrounding the temple. In the evening we went inside the temple just to see how it looks from inside.Oct'27,2023: we started our journey a little late because everyone was tired. At 6pm we reached Sitapur and went to Phata.Oct'28,2023: We started our journey to Sari, from there we started our Trek to Devriya Taal and reached there before time as expected. We enjoyed the beautiful Purnima on the 28th night.Oct'29,2023: we came down from Devriya Taal and went straight to Dugolvita after having some light lunch at a nearby shop.Oct'30,2023: in the morning we went to Chopta, where the main entrance to Tunganath Temple is and the trek starts. It was a long 2 to 3 hours trek for me because I was taking a lot of breaks due to the steepness of the path. We sat on the temple premises for quite sometime and made our way to Chopta again. We started our journey to Pipalkoti the same evening.Oct'31,2023: We visited the Badrinath temple and also made our way to the Last village named Managram in Uttarakhand.Nov'1st,2023: we started our journey to Haridwar early in the morning because we didn't want to miss the Ganga Aarti in Har ki Pauri. We walked around the market which is big and overcrowded this time. We had early dinner and went off to sleep.Nov'2nd,2023: we visited a temple which was just 3 kms walking distance from our hotel, which me and my uncle did in a short span of time. Later in the evening we went to our known sweet shop and had Lassi, milkcake,peda and rabdi.Nov'3rd,2023: we boarded the scheduled train which was at 6: 30 in the morning and it was a five hour long journey to NDLS which we reached around 11: 30 am, on the way we had breakfast which was available on the train and we also had to be sure to eat something which is heavy because it was a five hour long halt at NDLS because the train to Sealdah was around 4: 30 in the evening and we reached Sealdah the next morning at around 11: 00 am in the morning.
